Autopsy done on officer’s helper

THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) is waiting for the autopsy result conducted by the PNP Crime Laboratory 7 on the househelp of Supt. Glenn Ares, who was believed to have committed suicide last Tuesday morning.

Homicide Section Chief Mario Monilar told Sun.Star Cebu that PNP Crime Laboratory 7 Chief and medico-legal officer Nestor Sator performed the autopsy on Ermiliza Aba yesterday.

The result of the autopsy is expected to be available within the week, Monilar said.

He and CCPO Director Patrocinio Comendador earlier requested for the autopsy for the police to come up with an objective assessment of the incident.

Comendador said the parents of Aba, 19, who resided in the mountain barangay of Buot-Taup, Cebu City were informed about her death.

Aba was found hanging inside the comfort room of the PNP Officer’s Quarters across the Police Regional Office Headquarters’ Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr. past 8 a.m. last
Tuesday.

Ares and his wife Mary Grace called up the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation that rushed the house helper to the Cebu City Medical Center.

She was pronounced dead on arrival. (JST)
