U-16 chessfest to push through

THE 26th Blue Knight Chess Club-Davao City Sports Council (BKCC-DCSC) under-16 years old and below Rapid Chess Tournament will push through on Sunday at the Blue Knight Chess Club along Bonifacio St. after having been reset from its original schedule.

The event was earlier set Tuesday, April 15, but had to be moved due to the hectic schedules of club director Ronnie Tabudlong.

The five-round Swiss System format chessfest shall allow each player to have 25 minutes to finish the game.

With a minimal registration fee of P30, the winners are entitled to receive trophies and medals from the organizing BKCC and Davao City Sports Council, Incorporation now headed by city councilor and Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (Tatap) regional director Peter Laviña. (MLSA)
