These are: Vallehermoso, Guihulngan, Tayasan, Manjuyod, mabinay, Sibulan, Bacong, San Jose, Sta. Catalina, and Basay.

Macias said the implementation of the program is within the tenets of Republic Act 8980 otherwise known as Act Promulgating a Comprehensive Policy and a National System for Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD). It became into a law last 2000.

He said that among the components of the program are health related public programs geared at child are, day car program, parent effectiveness service and other parent child development programs.

The governor said that while Capitol might have some counterpart for the projects, most of the funds will be coming from the government's Philippine Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) and will be managed by the Committee for the Welfare of Children (CWC).

The CWC will directly execute the governor's project and is primarily responsible to carry out the implementation, management and supervision of such.

The province had been citied by awarding bodies for its consistency in protecting and pushing for early childhood programs in consonance with its Child Friendly Campaign program for the past years. (EBS)
