Firm to raise oil prices

SMALL oil company Total Philippines will increase by P.50 per liter the prices of its gasoline, kerosene and diesel Monday.

In a statement, Total said the increase in the prices of petroleum products was due to rise in the prices in the world market.

Pinoy Votes: Sun.Star Election 2007

Total said the price increase would take effect 12:01 a.m. Monday.

On Saturday, Pilipinas Shell implemented the same increase in the prices of its fuel.

With increase in the prices of oil products in the world market, other oil companies are expected to effect adjustments in the prices of their petroleum products. (MSN/Sunnex)
