Town folk support for guv’s recall sought By Reynaldo G. Navales
BACOLOR -- Businesswoman Lolita Hizon on Friday asked her town mates to support the recall move spearheaded by the Kapanalig at Kambilan Ning Memalen Pampanga Inc. (Kambilan) against Governor Eddie Panlilio.
Hizon, owner of the Pampanga's Best, described the recall move as a democratic process and is not in violation of any provisions of the law.

According to her, the province can no longer afford having leaders who are not physically and mentally sound.
Hizon urged her fellow Kabalens in signing the recall petition against the governor at her residence in Barangay Cabalantian here.
During a press conference, Hizon stated that she regrets supporting Panlilio in his election campaign.
She said the governor's actions contradict his statements and promises to the people of Pampanga.
She added that the people of Pampanga have the right to replace incompetent officials through another election.
Hizon has withdrawn her support from Panlilio, saying she was disappointed with the governor's inability to run the Provincial Government.
Kambilan president Rosve Henzon earlier said that they will be able to get the required 100,000 signatures within two months.
He said the membership of Kambilan has reached its 5,000 mark. "If every Kambilan member can recruit 20 persons, that would mean 100,000 already," said Henzon.
At least 10 members of the Provincial Board including Vice Governor Joseller "Yeng" Guiao have expressed support to the recall move against the province's chief executive.
The board members include Tars Halili, Crisostomo Garbo, Arthur Salalila, Edna David, Ceferino Laus, Nelson Calara, Ricardo Yabut, Karl Domingo, Attorney Raul Macalino, and Joel Simpauco.
